TVS Model Cruiser Expected to Launch this Year –

TVS Motor Company is one of the largest motorcycle manufacturers in India.

autos.id – Outside of India, TVS is also quite popular, especially in the Asian and South American markets. In the western world, you may be familiar with the TVS brand as BMW Motorrad’s partner in the development and production of the G 310 series motorcycle. This, of course, makes the Indian company expected to launch a new cruiser platform. Possibly it could have the potential to reach the global market. On 6 July 2022, TVS company plans to launch a new motorcycle in the Indian Market.

However, TVS has not revealed any information regarding the engine it will use, but there are rumors that the manufacturer will release a cruiser model, presumably a production-spec version of the TVS Zeppelin, which was first unveiled at Auto Expo 2018.

The TVS Zeppelin cruiser concept features a radical design and there are also some interesting characteristics. Then, in 2020, TVS presented the ‘Zeppelin R’ model as a production brand. However, unfortunately there is no information regarding the continuation since then.

TVS trademarked ‘Retron’ and ‘Ronin’ in 2020, and the next motorcycle could be named after one. In Japanese the word ‘Roni’ means ‘wandering samurai’. Maybe that’s the name of the upcoming TVS cruiser that will be shown for long-distance riders.

For ‘Retron’ seems to be a suitable name for all motorcycles that have a retro style so that there is a choice for the riders. On the other hand, the actual specifications of the cruiser have not been leaked yet and of course it is expected to use a single cylinder 225cc engine, air and oil cooled, and a fuel injection engine.

With a five-speed manual transmission, this engine can produce over 20 horsepower and 13 ft-lbs of peak torque, which, like most TVS stuff before it, has to be packed with features that make a motorcycle like the Bajaj Avenger 220.
