In its latest feature update, WhatsApp is working on a new tab dedicated to the upcoming Community feature.
This feature will list all the communities that are part of it, according to the details shared by the WABetaInfo feature tracker.
According to WABetaInfo information, Android users can update the messaging app to version 220.127.116.11 to be able to try this new feature.
As it has been revealed previously that WhatsApp’s Community tab feature allows group admins to add specific groups to ‘Community’. Where they will be registered together.
In other words that the Community tab is a shortcut for the “Community Home” feature which is currently in the works.
Communities tend to be end-to-end encrypted private spaces, allowing group admins to have better control over their group.

Voice Recording Features
WhatsApp has subsequently also started testing the ability to pause and resume voice recordings for beta testers on Android. You can find this new feature in the beta version of the Android 18.104.22.168 application.
With this latest version it will allow users to have a new feature to display sound waveforms when users record voice notes.
The ability to pause as well as resume voice recordings will eventually roll out to all users on the stable update channel once beta testing is complete.
In this latest feature, WhatsApp designed a pause button (pause). It not only serves to stop, but also records voice messages.
The pause button will function to pause while recording voice messages. Then the user can continue to record again.
Until now, the WhatsApp Community tab feature has not entered the testing stage. WhatsApp has not revealed any details regarding this feature. So we can’t say for sure when this feature will be available for public use.
