Expected Specs OPPO Reno8

OPPO Reno8 will reportedly feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen panel. The screen offers an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz, which will get a complete on-screen fingerprint sensor.

To support selfie and video recording activities, this smartphone will get a 32MP front camera.

However, it remains to be confirmed whether the selfie camera on this device will inherit the Sony IMX709 selfie camera from the Reno7 series.

Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno8 rear camera setup will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, with the support of two other lenses, namely an 8MP and a 2MP camera lens.

The Oppo Reno8 is rumored to be getting support for the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset with complete LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

Qualcomm recently ditched the three-digit numbering scheme, starting with its flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. This aims to obtain a simpler serial number and generation format.

This effort makes the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 the second mobile processor to come with an updated naming scheme.

As per the previous leak, the chip is positioned below the 8 Gen 1 which will probably be a mid-range offering with impressive performance.

Furthermore, the Oppo Reno8 will pack a 4,500mAh battery, which will bring support for 80W fast charging.
