Bugatti never stops producing cars with beautiful designs. This time, the “Beautiful” title was won by the Bugatti Chiron L’Ébé.
– This special edition car was created as an end to the standard production Chiron and also pays homage to the daughter of the founder of the Bugatti company, Ettore Bugatti. L’Ébé is the name of Ettore’s eldest child. L’Ébé deliberately put the initials “EB” in his first name to remember the initials of his father, Ettore Bugatti. He was born in 1903 and was a writer for his father’s biography entitled “The Story of Buggati”.
L’Ébé’s designs are inspired by L’Ébé’s love for Art Deco art. The entire body is covered in blue exposed carbon fiber, even on the engine cover.
The blue carbon gets accented with gold stripes on the Chiron’s midbody and fender stripes. These accents give a beautiful effect that has never been seen in previous generations of Chiron. The car’s surround-type grille and EB badge are also polished gold, with the alloy wheels and rear diffuser getting gold accents as well. For a final touch, the name L’Ébé is written in gold on the underside of the active hind wing.
Lake Blue colors and Silk (cream) leather cover almost the entire interior. However, the interior of the Bugati Chiron L’Ébé car displays the blue carbon with a touch of color that contrasts with the exterior. The L’Ébé name is also found on the door sill plates and headrests, and the Chiron silhouette is featured in Silk color on the knee pads on the center console.
The coolest part of L’Ébé is the door panels. The driver’s side door is mostly made of silk. The driver and passenger side doors feature beautiful artwork sewn into the door panels themselves. These pieces show the fronts of the Chiron, Veyron Super Sport, EB110, Type 57 Atlantic and Type 35 race cars. Bugatti has displayed panels of similar artwork before, such as on the Veyron Legends Edition.
Only three Bugatti Chiron L’Ébé cars will be produced and all will be shipped to Europe. One Chiron L’Ébé and one Chiron L’Ébé Sport have already been delivered, while the second Chiron L’bé Sport will be delivered at the end of the month. The car in these photos is a standard Chiron model.
Bugatti says the arrival of this special edition marks the end of the regular Chiron production for Europe, although there will still be several Pur Sport and Super Sport models still to be made. The standard Chiron was originally introduced in 2016 and became the first production car to produce 1,479 horsepower (1,103 kW / 1,500 PS) thanks to a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine.
